Re House (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through rehouseto.ca, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We comply with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us. That means:
- Your name, email address and phone number, when you contact us
- Your property address, property type and estimated sale timeline
- Any additional details you share with us by email, by phone, or on a call
We do not run advertising trackers on this site. Basic, anonymised traffic statistics may be collected by our hosting provider.
Why we collect it
Solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal for your property, and deliver our services. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, ever.
Who can see it
Your information is accessible to the Re House team and to the service providers that operate our form and email tools on our behalf. Where a renovation requires it, we may share the minimum necessary details with a trusted trade — with your knowledge. Where a property transaction requires it, information may be shared with the brokerage in accordance with real estate regulatory requirements.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are retained for as long as needed to serve you, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. Records relating to a completed transaction are retained for the period required by law. You can ask us to delete anything not subject to a retention requirement at any time.
Your rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email andrew@rehouseto.ca and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
This site does not set marketing or tracking cookies. If you submit the enquiry form, the form provider may set a functional cookie needed to process your submission.
